The Health Contact Centre Business Unit is responsible for the operation of 13 HEALTH, a 24 hour, seven-day-a-week statewide service providing access to health information, triage and referral to the people of Queensland.
The service is based on a partnership model with Smart Service Queensland, the Queensland Government contact centre environment, and involves the provision of clinical human resources from the Southside Health Service District.
The Health Contact Centre is also responsible for the development and integration of existing or future health care services which are/can be delivered through contact centre management practices.
