Living in Sarina

Sarina is a community of diverse ethnicities and as such, Sarina plays host to an array of the best international cuisine in the region. However, one of the most ingenious and scrumptious foods available is true blue Australian. The Sarina Sugar Shed makes some of the most delicious sauces and liqueurs through their sugar processing mill and distillery. Not only does the Sugar Shed produce and sell these yummy products, it also educates visitors about Sarina’s sugar industry and the process involved in turn the burnt brown cane sticks into granules of sweetness.

Sarina, being located between coastal waters and a booming mining industry, is experiencing a boom of its own. More and more people are flocking to Sarina after recognising the town’s potential as a convenient and affordable location to base themselves from.

Local must see!

Sarina is very much a rugby league town and its proud football team, the mighty Sarina Crocodiles have produced many professional-grade players including international star, Wendell Sailor. While living in Sarina, attending the games will become a weekly routine of excitement and suspense.
