Oral Cancer - early detection saves lives Program

About the program

The Oral Cancer - early detection saves lives Program was developed by the Office of the Chief Dental Officer in conjunction with oral cancer specialists and Cancer Council Queensland. The program and resources support and promote the early detection of oral cancer, and of factors that place individuals at high risk of developing oral cancer.

The Program is based on evidence that detecting and treating oral cancer early, results in better health outcomes, and that early identification and modification of personal risk factors can help protect against oral cancer.

The suite of Oral Cancer - early detection saves lives resources are now available. Please refer to the ordering process below.
