Salary packaging

As a Health Service District staff member you can access attractive salary packaging arrangements of up to $17,000 gross per annum.

Salary sacrifice is a system whereby a portion of an employee's gross salary or wage is paid as a benefit, before tax rather than directly as salary, thereby usually reducing the amount of tax paid by the employee on income. This is called salary sacrificing because it is sacrificing salary for a benefit and is at the discretion of the employee for the approved range of items.

Your own circumstances will determine whether salary packaging will be a benefit to you.
