How do I submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)?
The EOI form takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and collects a variety of information that helps us make an accurate assessment and provide you with appropriate feedback regarding your EOI.
- Before you submit an EOI, we encourage you to review the requirements to practice for Medical Professionals.
- Once you have submitted the EOI form and your CV, your application will be assessed and you will be notified by email whether you meet the relevant criteria.
- Suitable applications will be circulated to Queensland Health hospitals and health care facilities in consideration of available vacancies and your location preference.
- Employing hospitals and health care facilities may request your participation in other recruitment selection processes (eg interview, written application etc) to further determine suitability for employment for specific positions.
- Please note, submission of this EOI form is not a guarantee that you will be offered employment with Queensland Health. Please see the full terms and conditions for EOI submissions.
- The EOI process is just one avenue of seeking employment with Queensland Health. You also have the option to apply for advertised vacancies via our Job Search facility.

- Ensure your Curriculum Vitae (CV) is up-to-date and clearly outlines your qualifications, experience and skills. We strongly encourage you to use the Standard Form for Curriculum Vitae for Medical Practitioners, available through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency website, as a guide to your CV.
- As email correspondence is our primary method of communictation, please ensure you carefully check the email address you supply on the EOI form, and that you supply an address that you regularly check.
- Note that many positions within the south-west corner of Queensland are highly sought-after, so to increase the job options available to you, you may wish to consider locations outside these areas.
