Education and Training

Alcohol and Drug Training and Resource Unit (ADTRU)
ADTRU is responsible for the provision of education and training, and resource materials on drugs and alcohol to health and related professionals throughout Queensland. ADTRU's role has been more clearly defined as the provision of:

• Clinically-relevant education and training, rather than primarily public health education
• Face-to-face training
• Short courses, particularly those relevant to clinical service provision
• Organisational and professional development
• Production and dissemination of resource materials on alcohol and other drugs, especially those relevant to clinical service provision
