Graduate Speech Pathology Recruitment Program

Speech pathologists employed by Queensland Health work both individually and in multi-disciplinary teams in hospital and community based settings. They have access to active clinical research programs as well as opportunities to contribute to the ongoing clinical education of speech pathology graduates across Queensland. The Queensland Health's Graduate Speech Pathology Recruitment Program assists graduates to access employment and training opportunities in a variety of areas. Services are provided to clients and patients who have communication and swallowing difficulties.

Conditions may include:

• Dysphagia
• Behavioural feeding difficulties
• Tracheostomy
• Cleft palate
• Cochlear implant
• Speech difficulties
• Language difficulties
• Cancer
• Stroke
• Voice disorders

The centralised recruitment process is a convenient method of applying to multiple facilities via one application, for which facility preferences are considered.
